Hey there - I’m Lisa Virgo Make-Up Artist, thank you for giving me your time and visiting my website.
I am based on the edge of the New Forest in the market town of Romsey, Hampshire. I have many years of experience, I started my career with Bobbi Brown having been trained and certified with this international brand. This developed my love of natural, elegant, timeless and flawless Make-Up.
Over the years I have learnt the tricks and techniques to make your skin radiant, your eyes sparkle which consequently will boost your confidence.
Having struggled throughout my adult years with angry, problematic skin, I believe that every woman deserves to look and feel her best. I passionately believe that by enhancing your features, rather than changing the way you look, will help you see your own natural beauty. I totally believe that beauty comes from within.
I specialise in Bridal Make-Up and consider it to be a privilege to be a part of a Bride's wedding morning. Whilst Bridal Make-Up is a passion, I also love to work with private clients. Consequently, I also offer Make-Up Tutorials, Prom Make-Up, Special Occasion Make-Up and Corporate bookings. As a freelancer I am happy to travel as required.
I love to take my artistry and work with Corporate clients, to help with head shots, social media content and their special events. Clients I have worked with are Rolls Royce, Skandia Life, Virgin Media for Southampton FC and more recently the fragrance brand Floral Street.
The world of Make-Up and beauty is constantly evolving and it is essential that I keep my artistry skills and knowledge up to date, I regularly invest in training, courses and masterclasses from the leading faces within my industry. This re-energises my passion for the job that I do!

Weddings
Before the wedding morning, I will invite you for your Make-Up trial at my studio in Romsey. This should ideally be within 10-12 weeks prior to your wedding day. I offer each Bride a bespoke skin care consultation and will make recommendations to help you enrich your daily routine. We will then move onto your Make-Up trial, discuss your individual Make-Up desires to match your look and wedding style. This will also allow us to build a trusting relationship before the big day!
As every wedding day is different, please contact me with your requirements so that I can design a bespoke Bridal package just for you.

Tutorials
If you are ‘stuck in a rut’ with your Make-Up or really don’t know where to start, you need a Make-Up Lesson. This is your ‘me time’ where together, we will find your Make-Up style. I will teach you tips and tricks in Make-Up application and colour matching. Using your existing Make-Up kit, and maybe some ideas from mine, we will create a look that you can comfortably replicate at home.
Primary Package £95 - 1½ hours - One to one Make-Up with a Face Chart and Shopping List to take home.
Premium package £150 - 1½ hours - One to one Make-Up with a Face Chart, Shopping List and Fact Sheet to take home, plus a 45 minute follow up review.
Parties
In the comfort of your home I can offer group masterclasses, this works well with 4-6 ladies. For a bit of girly time, I give a full Make-Up demonstration on one of the party, and answer Q&A’s from everyone. It's fun, informal and informative. Ideal for a small hen party or just a good excuse to get the girls together!

Working alongside Sarah Sullivan, our local fashion styling expert, we together offer you a girly evening, we teach you tip and tricks with Make-Up and fashion styling tips and how to detox your wardrobe. All from the comfort of your own home.

How soon should I book?
As soon as you have booked your wedding date, it is a good time to start to look for your Make-Up Artist. My availability can be booked sometimes as far as 18 months ahead, so get in touch and we can discuss your requirements.
What do I need to do to book?
Once you have decided that you wish to book me, I will forward my booking form and terms and conditions to you. Once this is completed, returned and a small deposit paid, I am committed to your wedding day.
When will I meet you?
If we haven't met already, we will first meet at the Make-Up Trial, this will last up to 2 hours where you will have my undivided attention. At the end of the trial, I hope to have built your confidence in my ability to give you the look you desire for your big day.
What should I expect on the wedding morning?
I will probably be the first to arrive, and along with your hairstylist, I will "hold your hand" throughout the morning. My role extends beyond just being a Make-Up Artist, I will manage the mornings schedule, sort any minor crisis that may arise, assist you in getting into your dress if required and ensure all the finishing touches are perfect. I will be with you from the moment you open your curtains, until you are dressed and ready to leave. With my extensive experience, I have encountered and overcome many challenges as reflected in my Google reviews. I have a very calm demeanour and an ability to keep the whole morning running smoothly.
